it happened right outside of a convenient store in olney and sabina kuriakose is there. it involved a whole group of people. what are you able to find out. >>reporter: half a dozen people wielding everything from pipes to mace to even a piece of wood. here is the surveillance video. we do want to tell you it is violent. take a look. you can see the 51 year old victim is standing near the edge of the frame when a gray minivan pulls up. people are pouring out of the van. they beat, kick and bunch the vehicle as he falls to the ground. the brutal attack lasts seconds before the group gets back in the van and takes of off. it all happened in the 5500 block street of north philadelphia. we spoke with an eyewitness. >> i saw a van pull up and at it people jumped out. they had weapons, like pipe type of things and they cracked them and they kept cracking him and pumping him. i'm scared for my life. i said that's enough, that's enough. police actually arrested two women. they were actually found in the parking lot of einstein hospital where the victim is currently being treated.
