c-span's online store. what's new from american history tv. check out all of the c-span products. >> c-span is -- our recent visit to missoula, montana. all weekend every weekend on c-span three. toit's an ear he feeling think about these people who were brought here. most of them did not have any idea why they were arrested, and brought here for hearings to determine whether or not they might be disloyal to their country. what did they think, away from their families, unsure what would happen to them, interrogated by strangers, people who were going to determine their fate. the museum i think have done a great job. they have some of the original barracks. we are sitting in the original courtroom where the hearings were held for the japanese, so it is a really great place for people. it is a story that largely people do not know that either italians or japanese were held here during the work. most of the people who were arrested had been civilians in the concentration core camp. they had the justice department to bring people here, and also it had housed, since may of 1941, almost 1000 italians who had been taken off primarily merchant ships that were stranded in
