only 10 percent of our graffiti in those neighborhoods was observed, was on city infrastructure. other government considered 19 percent and of that 97 percent was on canada post boxes like they are the drop boxes that the mail carriers use for picking up their mail to deliver. they are being phased out, though, so again within the next year or so, those boxes are going to be phased out in edmonton so we'll see if it makes a change in graffiti results. but it also assists us in terms of how we approach them. so we take this information to canada post and basically say, get rid of the gray boxes. so, conclusions. edmonton's method for auditing graffiti vandalism is unbiased and effective as far as we've been able to determine. we use the results to work with the edmonton police service to determine our other services. the graffiti index and intensity index allow for specific locations within the neighborhood. we found we had significant results over the first year, in terms of the decrease 42.7 percent and while we have leveled off this year, we are confident that by analyzing the n

i heard earlier on they had warnings in oklahoma city. the whole state really is under a tornado watch, but as you can see, this is live. happening -- we have a chopper in the air from one of our affiliates bringing us this incredible video. this is a very large wedge tornado, and they don't classify it as a tornado until it actually touches the ground, but you can see in the distance that we might see a little bit of debris, which would tell me that this tornado has touched the ground, and you can see that there is farmland here, and some of the damage reports that we have gotten in some of these populated areas. so, unfortunately, we knew this was coming. this is tornado alley. it is the middle of may. and this type of thing happens. but in this age of cell phone video, and storm chasers, we are bringing this video to you live as it happens. and fortunately enough, yesterday people saw these images on their television screens and i think it helped people react and take cover immediately. so, tornado warned storm in and around this area o

on women and the status of their businesses. this is what we do. we want small business to help us in making sure that when we have all this opportunity this city is abundant with opportunity yet we're not always able to receive that for these businesses because one, no funding. two, private development. we can have an agreement but there is no real participation after that, so help us with this, and make recommendation and direct us to do a better job. you can help us with the departments. they shy away from this and use the tools that are there and the micro set aside program was talked about and it can help businesses that are women, small and local business to have an opportunity with the city. it's not often used. i have been watching the city opportunity list and within five days i saw five projects under $50,000. should have been set aside. was not but it was public advertised and then they used key words like "mandatory [inaudible] meeting." now that's a barrier for some of our business and when you go you don't make money. you spend money showing up cost you money, so we need to watch those unnecessary barriers and we need your help in hel
