it started with incredible capable parents, now daniel webster has a pre-school onsite, and emersion program and requests on the rise. it's integrated portraya al of petrillo hill. what a san francisco family success story, we have demonstrated how a high quality, integrated public school can overcome family flight. there are a couple of articles in the chronicle that document our success. we are here to tell you that the successful model is in jeopardy. daniel webster doesn't have a viable middle school and we don't have enough seats to follow us. the way to continue our success is to make daniel webster a pre-k to 8 school but we need your help. a year-and-a-half ago we made a request to expand daniel webster. and it's been two years since we raised this decision and a decision still has not been made. the district should be able to accommodate for growth. with mayor lee's support the city is experiencing a tech boom. we need family-friendly housing and schools nearby. the housing is coming online, more than 10,000 residential units are developed over the next five years. what we d

we had some equipment onsite that really was needed. to lift up heavy debris, cat machines with grapple buckets to move the debris out of the way. we were digging through an area of the school where we thought there could be young children trapped. seeing the deasks, pieces of paper children had written on stopped me in my tracks and reminded me of why die what i do every day. my team spends over 50 large scale sdast disasters like the earthquake in haiti, super storm sandy, this could be almost as pad as joplin. i am not a scientist. something is changing. the disasters are becoming more epic. >> this is cnn breaking news. >> thanks to the news, meteorologists, thanks to technology. >> you need to be in your tornado shelter immediately. >> people are becoming more aware of how to prepare and get out of harm's way when these large scale disasters strike. we have come here to help, to be a part of the community. it is always vitally important for me and my team to remember every house had a family living in it. they need a helping hand.

few days yet and that's because these trains behind me will stay put until the ntsb completes it onsiteking pictures, doing whatever they need to do to complete their investigation that will take place away from the site. once that do that, taen estimate has been anywhere between seven an ten days, they will then remove the trains and they will also need to repair any of the tracks and any other damage that's been done in the surrounding area. just to give you an idea of the stretch here, it's usually four tracks and that was under construction. they were down to tro two. the trains are sitting on each of those tracks. so that is off limits in this area. they're proposing people to get alternative travel as this week gets under way and they're also coming up with plans to provide alternate transportation for people in between these points. >> michelle, thank you so much. i'm actually one of those people. that's the train that i take to get back to my town in connecticut. so thank you. appreciate it. >>> in addition to that story with we are following some breaking news in virginia this
