this is in ontario, canada and this is the funeral for corporal nathan who was killed in ottawa in a ter or attack last week. we carried it here on fox news channel, our coverage. this is, canada, his home town, just 24 years old. he was one of the soldiers at that war memorial when a terrorist opened fire first there, killing him and then moving on to the parliament there in canada before the shooter was killed himself. right now the prime minister, steven harper, hundreds of mourners are gathered. this is a 138-year-old gothic church in hamilton as they say goodbye to the corporal. of course, he was one of two soldiers killed in separate terror attacks inside canada last week. they have just brought his flag draped casket into the church in and now they're gathered here dressed in their ceremonial kilts. we're watching the situation on fox news and wanted to bring you this as our nation certainly came to a pause last week for the coverage and sending our prayers north to canada. >> more fallout for hillary clinton over what she said about the genesis of jobs in the country. listen.

and a low also providing the opportunity for some snow in the northwestern portions of ontario. so, yes, quite a complex system taking place here. meanwhile down toward the south i mentioned the warm air. that's probably going to lead to some possible record-breaking temperatures for highs. 26 in atlanta. also into d.c. up to 28 in miami as we go through tuesday. as we look into the forecast, halloween is coming up on friday, we are expecting temperatures to really be below normal for areas north of d.c. and d.c. included, as well. now friday, most areas staying relatively dry except for buffalo but then look at this saturday. seeing the possibility of some snow as we go in to the first day of november. wrapping things up with a look at europe, we still have this low pressure system down through the balkan peninsula. i mentioned that this was going to be coming out of the mediterranean sea and that's going to provide rain and maybe even some snow for the upper elevations. and then toward the north and west we have another large cold air mass that's going to be dropping in from t

higher elevations in ontario, we'll see possibly 15 centimeters of snowfall and even down toward theth about the same amount piling up. to the east we're looking at some cooler temperatures. new york at 14. d.c. at 15. chicago just 6 for your high and we have a winter halloween there for you on our friday. out here in europe, similar picture here. again, hasn't really changed since the beginning of this week. another system will be pulling in, bringing wet and windy conditions to the british isles. ireland, you'll see about 40 millimeters of rainfall, and then gusty conditions as well as on and off showers. so they're continuing to pound the flood area in western norway. the system is swinging a cold front that is quite potent and that's likely to pull into southwestern portugal, so you have a risk of large hail. but out here across much of the central locations gorgeous weather for you in paris at 20 degrees. do enjoy that weather while you can. in madrid at 22 with sunshine because that cold front will leave coming into you by saturday. i'll leave you now with our extended forecast

we know for a fact here in ontario. let's bring in our chief political correspondent tom clark who knows place very well. of course we're talking about parliament hill. you are now right outside at the war memorial, tom, is that correct? >> yeah. he police haveppening is that been clearing has been moving steadily away from parliament hill. for those of you who know ottawa, i'm sort of on the other side so that road that runs in front of parliament hill has been completely cleared as a number of roads around the area and the cordon area is getting larger. we're told the area around 24 sussex drive, which is the residence of the prime minister, all traffic is being diverted away from there. so that is secure area at this point. we're far enough away that we're not necessarily hearing exactly what's going on although a few minutes ago we did hear police closer to parliament hill yelling, stop where you are, stop where you are. that may be nothing more than just a pedestrian getting in the wrong place at the wrong time. ho

and came up and now -- canada and came up and now rain and snow in michigan a little bit in toward ontario and trying to get into quebec. this energy is daving south. there are areas in the southern appalachians, western north carolina, eastern tennessee, eastern southwestern virq9ginia. winter storm warnings are up for tonight and then that energy is going to hit the coast. the coastal will form and boom pass to the north and east and that's going to drive the wind. we have some clouds we're watching from the west. to our east a little disturbance has brought clouds there. and overall the futurecast though tankfully keeps it dry for most areas in the metro. well, all areas in the mote row if you're going to be west of i- 85 you have a chance for some showers tonight. tomorrow morning watch some moisture from the east come our way. the only question is how far will it get? to the i-95 corridor or stay east. low 50s tomorrow and we'll be lucky to get to 50 on sunday but at least the sun listen back. the gusts before i have to run with the forecast. not bad this evening. we may get some gust
