i had a chance to talk to the premier of ontario, canada, the leader of that province in canada, yesterday, and he was really taking a hard line on what he expected the canadian prime minister to do and what he would do himself as the leader of a large province in canada, saying that he's going after absolutely everything when it comes to retaliatory measures against the united states. he talked about energy that is supplied to new york, to minnesota, to michigan, saying that he plans to cut things off if these now that these tariffs have gone into effect. i want you to hear a little bit more of what he told me on meet the press now yesterday. >> he's attacking. >> the person. his number one customer. there's no country in the world that buys more products off the us than we do. we're the number one trading customer to 28 states, and a lot of them are red states. they're going to feel the pain like they've never felt before. we're going to feel the pain. we're going to fight back like they've never seen before. >> he says that he's instructing leaders in his province to cut $10 billion in

we saw that with the ontario premier who got elected yesterday. he talks all day about the am-can relationship or the am-can fortress. certainly poilievre, the conservative leader, was just in the north of canada talking about arctic bases, talking about a deeper economic relationship, more trade and investment. there was this appetite, then unfortunately the politics went right off the rails. it is difficult to see where it has turned. i suspect mr. trudeau and mr. trump really don't like each other. there is a personal animosity which is deep. i don't want to get into all the psychological reasons why. trudeau blasted trump at ag seventh press conference and trump responded and called him two-faced trudeau. they disagree on everything. trudeau gave a speech a couple months ago where he scolded americans for not voting for kamala and that this was a setback for women's rights, but that trudeau has always been a feminist. these people really don't like each other. when we see these meetings that go awry, conservatives used to joke that if canada h
