now, oracle says this is the largest conference they have ever had. they estimate this five-day event will generate about $100 million in revenue for san francisco bay area restaurants, for their stores, and for the hotels. in fact, they say that every downtown hotel in san francisco, every downtown hotel room has been sold out and that includes a few on the peninsula as well. now, on display, of course, in the exhibit hall, the america cup trophy, won by oracle ceo larry ellison. ellison, of course, the keynote speaker tonight. still going on right now. he is the highlight of the conference. he first explained oracle's vision for engineered systems. >> -- all the software, all the pieces, we certainly deliver the fastest computer for business that's ever been built. that means we've got to beat the idea of higher performance of ibm. that was the goal. >> reporter: the big event will be the customer appreciation night on treasure island. they will have a concert head lined by sting and by tom petty and the heartbreakers. ann, i don't think my little p
