and we're bringing in orange accents because jae's two favorite colors which is green and orange.ign was a fabulous find. i got it on ebay. i love old vintage, industrial signs. they're really hard to find and when you do find them they're really expensive. there's a guy on ebay you just type in industrial letters and all of his stuff pops up. he has all different kind. a lot less expensive than you would find and they still have that really groovy old look even though they're new. and it even lights up. how cool is that? and i got these rods you can cut them as long as you like. and what they do is they kind of cover the cords and it looks nice and neat and we can even paint it the same color as the wall and it's going to make it not so unprofessional looking. we're going to make it look right. and then here this is actually a show rack but here's what i was thinking instead of shoes make this a bar. she can put all of her wine bottles in here, she can put all of her liquor bottles in here, notice we even got orange and green on the champaigne bottles so we're doing great. color

it's been the year of the orange dragon. yeah! . orange october. but you know we have celebrated, we have screamed, we have shouted all year long and once again the giants have captured our imagination and team work and they did the hard work. often we look at sports and we have super stars and we have super stars but there is a motto on the clubhouse wall and it says "25 guys, one common goal, win today". [cheers and applause] and they certainly live up to this motto. when i see young people, all of the city supporting giants gear it's about the impact of this team. it is hard work, perseverance and hard work and work with each other. did bruce bochy and these 25 guys quick when they lost the first two games against cincinnati? no. did they accept the inevitable with st. louis? no. they carried on with determination and experts and pundits predicted that this san francisco giants was going to the world series and team work means everyone contributes and we saw those plays and three home runs for pablo sandoval right here in san francisco. anybody wearing orange gets a special treat in my eyes today.nyway we're still celebrating and i never knew that wearing orange and the giants and sports will be so closely connected to what we do in emergency management but it is and it is for good reason because our city's success is really dependent upon inviting thousands more people here to enjoy our resources here in the city, to tax us a little bit on it, but this is what we do as a great international city. all of you have a very distinct role in all of this and it's my pleasure to begin telling you how proud i am and the months of september and particularly october have all been full of great events, and numerous events, and sometimes on schedules that while we had mentally took note they would be on the similar weekends, we were of course needing to really communicate with each other, and make sure we did all the things in the background that no one ever sees and talks to each other to make sure things happen smoothly, and i want to give big kudos to ed risin and all the others in tran
