looking at our hour-by-hour forecast, at 7:30 we see pockets of yellow and orange, and that indicates heavier rain. when it turns red that's most likely the potential of a thunderstorm, and we could see that around 11:00 this morning in parts of the north bay and a quick moving line that could sweep from san francisco into the east bay down to the santa cruz mountains by early in the afternoon. we're also looking at the potential for very cold temperatures and we could get hail in the mix here as well and that could cause a lot of problems. >>> mike, you have been watching how all of this affects the road conditions? >> yeah, slippery conditions and dangerous conditions with the wind reported by some of the drivers. here in this sunol area, we have the alert, southbound 680, and two lanes blocked around vargas. north bay, you notice slowing over here and that's because the truck crashed into the barrier, and they stopped traffic for a couple minutes to clear the debris, so that's the delay heading up through the area. lower the speeds around the bay because of the slick conditions. th
