that orange line train has just emptied out. they walk across the platform here, over to that yellow line train that takes you right into san francisco, where a lot of these people are headed this morning. they say, of course, for work, for a number of different reasons. but that is the typical commute for these folks. and that red line, what that essentially means if you don't memorize the bart lines by color, that's really the only line that gives you that direct route from places like richmond to sfo, all the way down to millbrae and of course, to downtown san francisco as well. a lot of these people i've talked to so far this morning say they had no idea that this was going to affect their commute until the minute they walked into a bart station, where they either saw a sign instructing them what they needed to do, or they heard that overhead message telling them that the red service line was no longer happening, and that they would need to hop and transfer at either. this macarthur station, where we're coming to you live fro
