some of these oregon fans are serious. this gentleman behind me, he ran away when he saw the cameras, there he is, he got up real early this morning and straightened out his area including his fan flag. he got here from l.a. yesterday. yes. tailgaters are up, cooking, putting on stanford and oregon gear. and in it for the long haul. 50,000 fans expected here just in time for the rush hour. and that means you'll have a lot of company if you around stanford this evening. the signs are lit up down university, reminding drivers that the big game is tonight. getting close to the stadium isn't even easy at this hour so i can't imagine what it's going to be later. barricades are up. tickets are mostly gone but among the most expensive, pack twelve championship tickets about $240 on average and that's what these went for. stanford reminding fans to watch out for counterfeit tickets at the last minute. no worry for one fan i spoke with this morning who showed up overnight about 3:00 in the morning with his super deluxe meat smoker.
