and that's as you make your way through orinda. we have major slowdowns just trying to get to highway 24. we'll take it to the maps. you can see that southbound direction of 680 is completely backed up. and it's backing up onto 242, as well. this is all due to caltrans. they have one lane closed and it's supposed to be reopened by 5:00 this morning. the same roadwork going on yesterday and it's destroyed the morning commute. it's just those delays stuck around all morning long. so be prepared for that. give yourself some extra time if this is part of your commute. it's likely to be slow throughout much of the morning. we also have some roadwork, the eastbound 24 to southbound 680 connector ramp slows as well until about 5 a.m. here's a live look at your ride and you can see 680 and 242 completely backed up. but they are stopped and many of those lanes -- we're looking at 52 minutes from willow pass road down towards highway 24. if you can avoid 680 or 242 until after the morning commute, i would definitely consider an alternate rou
