weekend storm didn't dampen this holiday tradition in tilden park, the redwood valley railway in orinda held its annual winterfest taking families on a scenic journey through the redwoods. steam trains wind through more than a mile of trees decorated with ornaments and twinkly lights. santa come through. the fog is so magical, especially with how the lights are in the trees, and it reflects on everybody. every time we go through the tunnel, everybody yells and you were like tunnel. so thank you. you're welcome this event which first started in 2014 is known to draw large crowds which spill into the parking lot. but this weekend, there were plenty of empty train cars. i think a lot of people are staying home because it's really freezing, but we like to get the trains out and run them anyway. ellen thompson, owner of the railway said they decided not to cancel this outdoor event because they love it. staff dressed in period costumes and father solstice brides. what's called the chariot of fire through the darkness. the trains even kept rolling during saturday's downpour. we just stayed op

weekend storm didn't dampen this holiday tradition in tilden park, the redwood valley railway in orindaeld its annual winterfest taking families on a scenic journey through the redwoods. steam trains wind through more than a mile of trees decorated with ornaments and twinkly lights. santa come through. the fog is so magical, especially with how the lights are in the trees, and it reflects on everybody. every time we go through the tunnel, everybody yells, and we're like tons. so thank you. you're welcome this event which first started in 2014 is known to draw large crowds which spill into the parking lot. but this weekend, there were plenty of empty train cars. i think a lot of people are staying home because it's really freezing, but we like to get the trains out and run them anyway. thompson owner of the railway said they decided not to cancel this outdoor event because they love it. staff dressed in period costumes and father solstice brides. what's called the chariot of fire through the darkness. the trains even kept rolling during saturday's downpour. we just stayed open. we had a
