well, earlier today, i spoke to the postal workers in orlando, florida.en in the same boat as republican employees in states like wisconsin and verizon workers across the country on strike right now. they're fighting for their jobs, their rights and their futures. the united states postal service, announcing today that it wants to reduce its work forest by 20%. but layoffs of that nature are prohibited by union contracts. that's where the republicans step right on in. gop congressman daryl isa has introduced a bill that would slash postal worker wages, slash benefits and end protections against layoffs. but the financial problems facing the postal service, and i want you to hear this, were created largely, not by you and me but by the congress. in 2006, a law passed was forcing the postal service to provide 75 years worth of pension funding within a 10-year window. who the hell else has to do that? independent firms estimate that the united states postal service already overpaid the fund by $50 billion to $80 billion. so, even though the post office made

with certainty where she was not today was right here in ore hometown -- in the her hometown of orlando, florida players returned from her big summer murder trial where she was acquitted one month ago for killing her daughter caylee. judge perry back on the stand, casey anthony's attorneys jose baez and cheney mason, they were there as well as the prosecutor, linda drane burdick and frank george. but unlike in the murder trial, this time the state agrees with casey anthony's attorneys. they do not believe casey anthony should now have to serve a year's probation. this has nothing to do with the murder trial. this all goes back to that 31-daytime period back in the summer of 2008 when casey anthony did not report to anybody that caylee was missing or, as she told investigators back then, that "zanny" the nanny had kidnapped her. at the time casey anthony was partying it up in hot body contests, drinking, clubbing, having fun and on a shopping spree. captured on several surveillance videotapes buying things for herself with bogus checks stolen from her best friend at the time who was out of town a

we have breaking news from orlando. a florida junge stepping down from his case after he ordered casey anthony to turn herself in to a probation officer by 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. a few more hours than she was originally given. last month a jury acquitted the florida mother of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, caylee. she hasn't been seen since leaving prison. this week judge strickland says anthony has to begin serving a year probation for a separate check fraud case. moments ago the department of corrections announced another deadline. >> we have told her attorneys that she needs to be here by no later than 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. if she does not check in by 10:00 tomorrow, we will notify the court. >> nbc's kerry sanders is live in orlando. now she's getting the demand from several different avenues get back here. what's likely to happen? >> well, it appears that her attorneys are working on many different fronts. specifically in court where they are trying to get a change to this order by judge strickland. the first thing

her defense team will try to block an order for her to return to orlando, florida, to serve probation who originally ordered the probation stepped down from the case after being accused of bias. so judge belvin perry who presided over anthony's murder trial, he will take over this part of the case as well. the stepfather of 11-year-old celina cass has check himself into a mental clinic now. it's the second time this week that he has been hospitalized. he went to the e.r. the day her body was found in the river. he has schizophrenia and was committed to a mental facility for threatening an ex-girlfriend in 2003. he has not been named a suspect in celina's death. are oprah winfrey and president obama falling out of love? back in may, oprah did not endorse him when they sat down for an interview on her final shows. she announced she will back him in 2012. the president's re-election team said while they appreciate her support, they're focusing on other things right now. those are your headlines. you want the endorsement of oprah winfrey, i think, if you're the president's team, you do. >
