we are still following developing news about the orrville dam and the spillway problems. promising news as the operators release more water they say there is no sign that the main spillway has been further damaged. at this rate of release reservoir levels may drop as much as 25 feet by the time the next storm hits thursday morning. operators are optimistic but they are still worried that either the main or the emergency spilllway, which are both damaged, will further erode. for now at least the main spillway is holding up. in the meantime almost 200,000 people are still under mandatory evacuation orders. many have found temporary housing while others are still in emergency shelters like this one. nobody knows how long or if they are allowed to go back home. if they will have to evacuate again. >>> right now we want to check in with steve it regarding the weather because they are on a time clock right now. >> this isn't going away. i don't care if they get a week of dry weather. there is a huge snow pack up there. this is going to be ongoing here. down 12 feet since sunday
