orville lived until 1940. the last 36 years of his life, he never credited wilbur with anything individually but it was always them together which is what most other biographies and most of the things written about the wright brothers have orville and wilbur basically the same two sides of the same coin. while working alone between 1896-1890, wilbur had one of two great epiphanies. is important, nothing anything i wrote or anything anybody else wrote, should the track from the utter brilliance of wilbur wright. here is a man who did not graduate high school, never had an engineering course, new nothing about aerodynamics, which is a formative science to begin with, who solve the problem that it's the isaac newton, leonardo da vinci, and host of the greatest thinkers in history. wilbur was one of the great intuitive scientists this country has ever produced. utterly brilliant. what he discovered was, wilbur was not interested in speed, not interested in the motor. off the water was a motor that was fast enough

i want to show you some very startling pictures from lake orville. this is like orville july 2011, and as of late august, you can see this was taken about a couple weeks ago, really low levels, that's all that's left. this is the most dramatic imagery i could find, fwhu really telling the story, we have to conserve. you can play a big role. what you do every day impacts the entire state. a couple things that we were able to find for you, not so obvious, conservation tips. you want to water your lawn early, so you can avoid that quick evaporation, and when the wind is calm as well. also, don't use your toilet as a trash can, and when you shower, lather up, turn the water up, and turn it back on. and yeah, we've resorted to giving you tips like it because our drought is that bad, but the light at the end of the tunnel, our first rain typically occurred by september 30th, and hopefully year that will be the case. we're already seeing the storms going up out in the pacific. bay area? that's the big question. we are watching it for you each and every day.
