osama hamdan was there and he's joining me live from qatar. mr.s very much for joining us. are you ready to accept a humanitarian cease-fire right now with no strings attached, deal with some of the other demands down the road? >> if it's clear that hamas declared from the first day that we are ready to deal with the cease-fire for humanitarian reasons and that happened twice and on both times israelis violated that at the end of the time. six hours they violated that after five hours and the second time it was three hours and they violated it after 12 hours, but we are ready for that. there is an israeli attack, killing the palestinians by bombs and killing the palestinians by siege. we want to make a complete end on this attack on both levels and this is the idea of the cease-fire including the lift of the siege. >> if there is a humanitarian cease-fire agreement will you stop launching rockets and missiles into israel? >> well, in both times before, the united nations talked to hamas directly and we accepted their offer and i want to remind you

joining us hamas spokesman osama hamdan joining us from beirut once again. thanks for joining us.ccepted that egyptian sponsored cease fire. stopped firing against hamas targets for about six hours. hamas continued launching rockets into israel on the other hand. why did you do that? why did you reject that cease fire in the argument is you could have saved some palestinian lives if you would have agreed to the cease fire. >> well, i believe we could save the palestinian lives if the israelis did not violate the cease-fire which was agreed on in 2012. we could save the palestinian lives if netanyahu did not speak in the last four weeks when he talked about the certain issue of the three settlers and that generates the burn. we did not reject the cease-fire. from the first day we've said we have to go back to the cease fire and israel must respect the agreement without regulations. but we said also yesterday no one received a proposal for cease fire through the media through a conference. it was supposed to be delivered to hamas through the political channels which did not happen.

osama hamdan is joining us on the phone and he's a top spokesman for hamas. mr. hamdan, the israelis say they will accept this temporary truce that the united nations has put forward for humanitarian reasons. will hamas accept it, as well? >> i have to say that the united nations was initiated and we are still waiting for some answers to give the final answer about that. we are welcoming all of the efforts to provide the humanitarian aid for the palestinians, but as you have said a few moments ago, we have to be sure that the israelis will not use that as a chance to prepare for the ground invasion which they are just trying to have happen as soon as they can. >> so, basically what you're saying is you're not yet ready to give an official response whether you accept it, you don't accept it, you want more information. specifically, mr. hamdan, what are you looking for? what questions do you need answered to agree starting 10:00 a.m. local time tomorrow morning to have this temporary humanitarian pause, stop the fighting between both sides? >> that there will not b
