nbc 10's pamela osborne is live outside police headquarters in center city.olice tell us this man was an exboyfriend trying to get into his exgirlfriend's house, right? >> that's right, tracy. he tried for a second time to get inside of that home. the first time they say the 33-year-old tried to get in through a kitchen window. the woman who lives there is the ex and mother of his two children. she and her current boyfriend were able to push him out of her marco street home. this was just after midnight. that's when police say the first call was made to 911. the caller told the operator someone was breaking in. police tell us the people inside of the home heard a commotion, they went upstairs and found the ex managed to get in through a second story window. police say he first got into a fight with his exgirlfriend, then her current boyfriend. the current boyfriend shot the man in the chest. that's when another call was made to 911. this time, the caller informed police someone had been shot. police found the 33-year-old man lying on the floor of that bedroom

nbc 10's pamela osborne is live in new castle for us. tell us how this all unfolded. >> well, vai, this happened just after 1:00 this morning. luckily for that truck driver, and the passenger he had in his cab, there were people driving in the area who saw what happened, who saw that truck overturn on its side. our overnight news photographer, pete cain was on 295, headed to another accident when he saw the tractor-trailer flip over. witnesses tell us the driver of the big rig was attempting to merge on to the southbound lanes of 95 when he lost control. that truck traveled across three lanes of traffic before hitting a double guide rail and overturning on the ramp to 202. other drivers who saw the crash jumped in to help. they called 911 and tried to get that truck driver and his passenger out safely. we talked to the driver of the other car involved in the accident, before he was taken to the hospital. >> the truck tried to come between the lane, he trying to cut over, he was in the far lane. he tried to cut into my lane. he hit all th

pamela osborne is live outside police headquarters in center city.tell us how the situation unfolded. what happened here? >> tracy, according to police, that exboyfriend tried to break into that woman's home not once but twice. the first time they say the 33-year-old tried to get in through a kitchen window. the woman who lives there is the ex and the mother of his two children. she and her current boyfriend were able to push him out of her marco street home. this is just after midnight. that's when police say the first call to 911 was made. the caller told the operator someone was breaking in. police tell us, excuse me, the people inside of the home heard a commotion. they went upstairs and found the ex managed to get in through a second story bedroom window. police say first he got into a fight with the exgirlfriend, then her current boyfriend. the current boyfriend shot the man in the chest. that's when another call was made to 911. this time, the caller said someone had been shot. police found the 33-year-old on the floor of that bedroom. they ru

. >> pamela osborne is live there this morning. pamela, walk us through you know what happened. >> reporter: well, lauren, police were able to catch up with that hit and run driver within a matter of minutes thanks to a tow truck driver who witnessed that accident and followed after that driver. i'm going to step out of the way and show you. can see this one police cruiser with a broken mirror remains on the scene. this is exactly where fifth district officers stopped to conduct an investigation. there were two officers and a sergeant. the over headlights were flashing on both cruisers. the sergeant was in uniform, standing on both sides, talks to an officer when police say a 2008 toyota rav4 came speeding down main street in the southbound lane. the same side of the street that officers were conducting their stop on. police say the suspect hit the sergeant so hard that he was knocked out of his shoes and launched 15 feet up the street. in comes that tow truck driver. he saw all of this happen. he followed the driver and alerted po

pamela osborne is live outside the courthouse in norristown.pam, tell us more. >> we're expecting that jury to reach a verdict perhaps as early as today, either finding kathleen kane guilty or not guilty of leaking grand jury information to a reporter and lying about it. the defense rested without calling any witnesses to the stand friday or presenting any evidence. kane toll the judge she felt like the case against her was so weak, she would not take the stan. last week, prosecutorsç called multiple witnesses to the stand. they testified kane was the source of the grand jury leak. the political operative on the other side of the information is josh murrow. he testified that he and kane plotted to get even with a former a.g. staffer. >> devastating evidence against the attorney general. >> that former prosecutor turned defense attorney tells us kane's defense strategy that none of this actually matters might work. if that's the case, she could be found not guilty. we'll be inside the courtroom throughout today's proceedings. we'll let you know
