we saw that pay, electoral dividends in georgia's senate race, that's how jon ossoff and reverend warnock were elected, a huge part of why democrats have a majority now in the senate. so this will be debated in the house, and then moved to the senate. remember, if the senate makes changes there once the house passes the bill it goes right back. that march 14th deadline where some of those jobless benefits expire, the clock is ticking on that. politically, though, we laid out just now though why democrats want to push forward on this. i do want to point out something mitch mcconnell said in the "wall street journal," he said that things like opposing biden's $1.9 trillion bill will help unify our party. i don't think many republicans are going to be for many of the things coming out of this administration. they're in a tug of war between the trump part of the party and the other part of the party that wants to move away from him. interesting to see how this plays out on capitol hill and on the campaign trail. >> opposing the bill will -- take us to washington, we've got a story out on nbc
