we will fall to near 6 degrees in our city centers with wind chill factors as cold as 5 below zero. the good news plenty of sunshine this afternoon but not warming much as our highs will reach 23 degrees with wind chill factors in single digits into the early afternoon. we gradually start warming up on thursday and friday with highs of 40 thursday and mid 40s by friday. however it will be short lived as rain moves in friday afternoon out ahead of a cold front. this will drop temps back and we could see some snow showers saturday morning depending on how fast our temps fall with remaking precipitation. then highs in the 20s with sctd snow showers on sunday. the weekend forecast will be a tricky one as that system is just now starting to take shape and the snow chances will be dependent on how fast our temps fall. full closures of northbound exit 6 are scheduled to accommodate bridge work this week. the full closures will be in place beginning at 11 p.m. each night tuesday, jan. 12, wednesday, jan. 13, thursday, jan. 14 and friday, jan. 15, reopening by 5 a.m. the following day. denise

yen more every year on homeless services and housing and my commitment today is this, to never let our city slip backwards on our funding priorities. that means movering forward we'll spend at threes 250 million a year on outreach and housing for 10s of thousands of people. we know success isn't mesered by how much money we spend, you know that. accountability matters. we are measured by the number of human beings we lep off our streets and into a better life and by conditions on our streets also improving at the same time. so, i'm setting a ambishish but i believe an achievable goal for the second term. by the time i leave office we will move at least 8 thousand people out of homelessness and we'll remove them out of homelessness forever. we will fall to near 6 degrees in our city centers with wind chill factors as cold as 5 below zero. breaking now breaking news i-74 in dearborn this morning... following that massive pileup that caused issues for drivers. our jessica brown is here with the latest on the crash. it took 9 hours before all the lanes were back open after the 40 vehicle pile up yesterday morning. open after the 40 vehicle pile up yesterday morning. both accidents happened within the same half mile on westbound i 74 near mile marker 168. indiana state police say whiteout conditions caused a semi tractor trailer to jacknife at that location. that's then caused 28 vehicles collided causing the first pileup..i- s-p says decreased visibility and slick roads caused that one. the second collision happened within a quarter mile behind the first crash-the latest one involving 12 vehicles. some people involved were trapped in their cars before finally being able to get out. they were taken to cincinnati area hospitals. all of the them are non-life threatening injuries. the crash caused damage to the pavement on i-7
