in overton. you can hardley tell.. but... this is a road! crews worked overnight... to clean up... the mess. the roads are going to be very muddy... for a while. you could also see a lot of snow around henderson. here are some pictures we receieved today showing snow on black mountain.. which doesn't happen very often. a lot of it has melted off.. but it definitely had motorists doing double-takes this morning. let's take you to the other side of the valley now.. and this picture of the snow in lee canyon from action news meteorologist karla huelga. she spent the day on mount and takes a closer look at the snowfall there. in california.. the only road to a community of about -5-hundred homes is back open... after crews brought out the heavy equipement.... to clear it. this is about an hour.... west of north lake tahoe. flooding caused by ice dams.... wiped out the road. crews used the backhoes to allow the water to flow back... into the river. residents near soda springs are glad to be free. as we were saying inside the house.. mother nature always wins. i've seen lots of weather b
