p.a. turnpike, norristown, phoenixville seeing a lightning strike. a lot developing now and it's going to continue to develop over the next hour or so. we still have a severe thunderstorm warning for chester county, extending through parts of delaware county until 11:45. king of prussia just on the edge of that. coatesville getting out of some of the heaviest rain, but locked into the area of heavy rain and high winds. with any severe thunderstorm, we expect 60-mile-per-hour winds, lightning, heavy rain, and potential hail. that's why these things can be very dangerous. now, as we track this moving to the east 35 miles per hour, if you're in east goshen township, expect it 11:26, upper darby, 11:51, and philadelphia, right around 12:00. so we still expect these storms to be moving into philadelphia, the strongest part of them, right at lunch time, at 12:00 p.m. we'll keep tracking these for you. also don't forget while i'm tracking the storm, your seven-day forecast is at the bottom of the screen. we're still seeing storms in montgomery and bucks cou

p.a. turnpike and 476 here. maple glen, mite marsh. this shower is fairly heavy. it's very small, but it's just not moving, which is why it's giving us a flood advisory. so for this entire area, just showed you, flood advisory until 7:30. that means until this shower dies out we have the potential for minor flooding. we could see um to an inch of rain this with this shower before it finally does die out, which i don't think will be too much longer because we just have quite a bit of dry air around. we'll be keeping our eye on it for you. lower montgomery county, keep in mind, it's not moving very quickly. the rest of the area, camera-wise it looks good unless you're in philadelphia. that's where we have the clouds and still some light rain showers, mostly lower montgomery county at this point. your neighborhood temperatures, 83 degrees parkside, 84 degrees at philly international, 81 west mt. airy. we did have a little rain move through south philly. that's why temperatures are a little cooler. fox chase 84 degrees, summerton at 83. still fairly warm outside today
