p.m. eastern on c-span's q&a. >> mcmullen is an independent presidential candidate, mindy is an independent how do you try to get to 270 electoral votes? >> we will. >> we will appear on the ballot of 11 states and then we will be registered as a right in and a number of others that will total, including the balance where we appear on the balance, 43 - 45 states by election day. the vast majority of people will be able to cast their vote for us. the reality is reaching 270 votes hundred 70 votes is going to be very difficult given were three-month presidential campaign. and also related circumstances. our strategy is different. that's not a strategy. our strategy strategy. our strategy is to win as many states as we can, and hopes that if the election is close between hillary clinton and donald trump, we could block them both and prevent them also from gaining the majority in the electoral college. in that case, the election would go to the house of representatives where we like our chances. >> mindy, one of the states, utah where you are today, it has not voted for a democrat since 1964. y
