you can see here on the satellite image all of the moisture that is streaming in from the western pacific now we do have a tropical storm weakening to a tropical depression across baja mexico and all of that moisture is streaming to the north and from the southwest that means the potential for flooding is going to be rising over the next few days and really not too much of a change from tuesday to wednesday as the moisture starts to make its way even further to the north up here in canada look at the temperatures really dropping as a system pushes through we are going to be seeing snow and those high temperatures are barely going to be getting out of the single digits there well the crossest parts of central america and also the caribbean we are looking at fairly dry up here to the northeast but most of the rain is going to be down here across much of central america panama city managua as well as into coastal rica very heavy rain shower expected over the next few days and then on wednesday we do expect to see more heavy rain pushing up towards jamaica but for center domingo mostly cloudy

it's a storm system out here in the pacific. typically, most of the time these storm systems move from the west to the east across the bay area. but this one's going to be different. it's going to move out here in the pacific off to the south. the heaviest, the strongest part of the storm would stay in the pacific and then this would t t start to graze us. that's why we're not going to see super high totals throughout the bay area. let's bring in our doppler radar, and it does look impressive. most of the heaviest rainfall would stay out in the pacific. and then we're going to see bands of rain moving in. that's what we're starting to see right now on storm ranger. as we move in and get a closer look, you can see the wet weather is starting to approach highway 101. the sphere atmosphere is just s to get wet. we definitely could see showers start up in petaluma by5:54. so let's take a look at what we expect over the next couple hours. the future cast is doing a really fo really good job of showing the best chance of rainfall. as
