there's a lot of activity out here in the pacific. you see a nice defined storm track. it remains out of the area for right now. but into next week we will be talking about some rain. it could be heavy at times, especially by wednesday. current numbers out there for the 7:00 hour. right now we have santa rosa 54 degrees. hayward is 56 and half moon bay checking in 50 degrees. here is our live camera looking above san francisco with still mostly clear skies. so it's a nice evening out there. kind of chilly and we could have some patchy frost first thing tomorrow morning, so definitely want to bundle up when you start off your weekend. with temperatures in the 30s and the 40s, but then into the afternoon hours. lots of sunshine. it's going to be nice afternoon with those readings, mainly in the 60s, and a few neighborhoods could be flirting with 70 degrees. so we talked about the nice pattern. at least in the short term. this area of high pressure will keep us dry and it will keep us mild. here's the change though, developing into next week. as we see some energy out here
