that smoke really got going during the high winds yesterday and blowing the smoke off the coast and over the pacific ocean. but we are going to see a shift in that wind now. it will reduce the visibility quite a bit and so much so yesterday that as people were evacuating around the windsor area, they had to shut down a part of highway 101 due to low visibility. so we're going to see that changing as we go throughout the day. the plume of smoke will start to make its way into solano county and toward the east bay eventually into the rest of the bay area this evening. as we see unhealthy air quality. the skies will become very grayish looking. and then we'll also be able to smell more of that smoke and it will settle into the valleys as the winds continue to calm down today. so not a lot of mixing here. but as we go into the day tomorrow, we're expecting still some very poor air quality but the winds will be picking up. looking at today, our air quality once again moef-- most unhealthy in the north bay but unhealthy for sensitive groups. so if you have breathing problems, use the tips that bob redell
