now most of the students that we're ready, we're being seen as white, asian or pacific islander. well, children of color, we're less likely to be ready in the last 6 years of study that they did show that only 26% of latino kids were ready for kindergarten. and only 33% of black children and 33% of native american kids were ready when it talks about what's being done with the county says that there are several efforts that are currently underway with the main one being a program that would provide universal pre-k for all 4 year-olds in california. but the start of 2025, something that they think would really help parents who may not have the extra funds for pre-k or that private child care. this report also talks about, you know, children who come from homes where their parents make over 100,000 are twice is ready to go into kindergarten rather than students that come from families that are making around 35 to 40,000. but i did reach out to the superintendent at multiple school districts here in sonoma county, some hoping to hear back. and of course, we're live this morning at on
