area saturday night into sunday and heavier rain to the northern california coast and into the pacific northwest. that is still couple days off, it still really nice out there right now. temperatures in san jose topped out at 74 degrees in the south bay this afternoon and made it up to 77 in santa rosa, 78 in concorde and mid to upper 60s around the bay. just a few degrees below the highs, mid to upper 60s around the bay, low to mid 70s father inland, close to 80 degrees in fairfield, just below 60 degrees in half moon bay. to just tomorrow will be similar to what we had today even with the increasing clouds overhead, we will start in the upper 40s in north bay, otherwise mostly low to mid 50s and it will be a few degrees above average, two or three degrees above average around the bay, temperatures further inland ranging from four degrees above normal from the south bay to just one degree above normal in concorde. low 60s likely along the coast, maybe even sneaking up to the mid 60s. the wind will not be directly offshore for the first part of the day, mid to upper 70s for around 80 degrees, si

looking at the big weather pattern, they've had numerous storms moving across the pacific northwest.uite a bit of rain there. for us, dry weather as high pressure blocks that storm track to the north. we're not going to see this change through the week. in fact this high pressure that causes the air to sink and as it sinks, it compresses and warms up. we're going to see more off the right overhead. then we start to see things changing by the end of the weekend once that wind flow shifts. that high pressure moves out and we're going to cool off by sunday. but i think all week long we're going to start this warming trend and it won't feel bad today. in fact it will be comfortable, breezy, also very nice tomorrow. then by the middle to end of the week that's when it starts to feel more like summer. we're going to have a few days of summer-like weather, even saturday will be warm. but sunday we are back to spring and that is where we're supposed to be, marcus. >> nothing to complain about with those temperatures. thanks, kari. >>> coming up for you, a look at how people celebrated the ke

we have a system that is moving through the pacific northwest, that is going to eventually bring our temperatures down, even bringing a few scattered showers torthern california. in the meanwhile, is kind of broken down the high-pressure overhead along the west coast. and we had turned more into what we would call a zonal flow. you can kind of see how those arrows are a little bit flatter, when we have a very strong ridge overhead, the onshore flow arrows are very curved. here is a view of some of those winds out there. reporting 70 miles per hour that looks to be one of the breezy are spots, meanwhile in the north, calm over areas like napa, santa rosa, and along the east bay shore seven miles per hour reported in oakland. he is a look at what we do expect for your friday afternoon, right around 4:00 or so, partly disguise from the coast and around the bay. as we get into saturday morning, the low clouds return, along the coastline, inside the bay, we wake up with partly cloudy, mostly cloudy skies, and by saturday afternoon and evening, you may have noticed how that -- blues kind o
