pacifica and half moon bay in the mid-fifties. but let's take a look at this microclimate forecast that cool sea breeze. certainly a very nice influence on our temperatures right now. pacifica and half moon bay in the mid-fifties. but as you make your way inland into the east bay valleys in the mid 80's for dublin and livermore. so 30 degree difference out there right now from our coolest coastal cities to our warmest inland valleys, not expected to break records today and we are tracking oakland and even ala mena in the mid 60's. the novato and fairfax, 82 degrees a little bit warmer there. but that cool sea breeze impacting those of you in petaluma. 72 degrees. so enjoy that temperature trend. we are tracking about 5 to 10 degrees of cooling mainly along the coast and east bay shoreline. still a very mild air mass, though. thanks to those northerly winds for east bay valleys. but the good news is we're all going to cool down significantly by tomorrow. a little bit of that cool sea breeze. and you could see right there right now

pacifica at 45 with fog in novato. we are looking two to six degrees warmer in concord.w but the wind shifts for sunday ringing in a cooler day. blustery along the coast and then we will heat up next week. the second half of the workweek temperatures are looking well above average. but this 48 hour 72 hour time frame will be short-lived, the heat wave and then cooler conditions by next weekend. here is a look at the cloud cover, very high clouds, 20, 30,000 feet in the atmosphere and then that gets take her through the afternoon today. there is a break overnight and more high clouds visit us. there is a wind shift into sunday so the wind will kick up and temperatures coming down quite dramatically, five degrees to eight degrees sunday and then by monday, the system could be visiting sonoma county. here is a look at the beaches. a little cool but mild the further south you get with partly cloudy conditions and northwest winds not too breezy. 10 to 20 miles an hour as we look at the highest, mild numbers mid and upper 70's for santa clara and los gatos and gilmore at 76. o

from getting a cool sea breeze right along our bay area beaches, low 50's for half moon bay and pacifica. 17 degrees warmer for concord. still flirting with 70's. even at this 8 o'clock hour and you actually warmed up into the low 80's today. so not surprising that you're still tracking pleasant temperatures even as the sun is setting. 52 for petaluma. but just to your south, fairfax still in the low 60's. so when tracker for we are tracking the cool sea breeze out there right now, it is a little bit gustier than where we were at the 6 o'clock hour. now we're seeing wind gusts near that 30 mile per hour range with sustained winds out of the west at 25 miles per hour. but we're tracking very clear skies, but overnight and into your monday morning, we are going to notice some more cloud cover, but plenty of sunshine not going to stop the mercury from rising, especially on the coasts, slightly cooler, but still going to be on that toasty side for inland valleys. details ahead on your full work week. forecast. and if any more april showers are in the last week of april. coming up in just a f

and 85 down toward pacifica as well. even around the coast we had low to mid-80s. morgan hill up to about 95 degrees. the transition tomorrow will be the morning starts off pretty mild. we'll still have 50s and 60s outside. some of these inland hills may start off in the 70s. we should see upper 70s around lunch time inland tomorrow. and as the wind picks up, look at the change there. san francisco and oakland, you're going to stay in the 60s and 70s. inland location likely topping out into the 80s. we'll have upper 60s around the start of the game, and we'll have to watch the wind speeds. wind speeds of 15-25 miles per hour. and temperatures in the 60s. wind will be a big part of story. a little too much wind at times. we'll have to watch the north bay hills and the diablo range. and notice how the temperatures drop. saturday, temperatures in the 70s. 60s and 70s sunday, and monday, 30 degrees cooler, 50s to low 60s for highs. that monday forecast will bring in a chance of seeing a few showers. the weekend dry, clouds on sunday, windy at times. we'll have to watch

oakland, augusta, 54 pacifica and san carlos both getting a gust to 45 miles an hour. and even inside the bay. a 38 mile an hour gusts in san jose. so blustery where everyone today those winds begin to back off a little bit skies are still mostly clear. of course, we did have that cold front come through and that brought with it of some light showers. but the winds, the other continue the richmond district right now for a 31 mile an hour gusts there. 29 in daly city, 27 miles per hour. gusts in millbrae. 27 in burlingame. and 25 in san carlos, the south bay, things are backing off a little bit. still some gusts over 20 miles an hour there. then you look 26 mile hour gusts in san lorenzo. 24 in san leandro, the east bay. so some gusty winds over the mountain tops as well. and that's kind of the way it's played out today. it looks like things are beginning to wind down a little bit with the winds. but i think by tomorrow afternoon, again, likely to see some gusty winds over 30 miles an hour along the coastline. all rainfall fall totals, not a huge storm but not bad. over

pedro valley, their 58 degrees. 63 downtown pacifica. 65 now grotto. but over the hill, still some very warm temperatures. 75 in belmont. 75 in san carlos. 76 in redwood city, 78 and after 10 and 73 degrees in mount isa, some very nice temperatures all around the bay bay area, very summerlike outside. but this is all about to disappear. we've got a cold front off the coastline. and even though this ridge has been so dominant, it's going to start to get kicked to the east. and as that happens, all of a sudden, we're going to see a few clouds begin to trickle in across our skies as we head in toward tomorrow. but maybe more importantly, really intense sea breeze by tomorrow afternoon. we're talking some gusty winds, 30 plus, miles an hour along the coastline. so changes in the forecast in the next 24 hours. and this really the kind of opened the door to some bigger changes over the weekend. still a warm day, i think away from the coast, still looking at mid 80's as you head inland to the tri valley, santa clara valley looking very warm again tomorrow aft

pacifica currently at 49 degrees. low to mid 50's though, as you make your way inland.so certainly getting that cooling effect. they said that wind chill from that sea breeze influence this evening. high temperatures tomorrow, though, slightly below average. in fact, downtown san francisco barely in the low 60's warming up to 61 degrees. mid 60's for oakland at 64 degrees as a san jose and upper 60's. for those of you in vallejo and nevado, 68 degrees of peace. so we are going to notice, though, a nice warming trend this weekend. there is a slight chance of showers with this storm trying to clip the north bay. but once again, looks like it's going to be more of a wind maker than actual rain. so we're going to say goodbye to april showers could see some rain chances on monday and even possibly thursday of next week in the bay area for the first week of may already doubt system, though, is drying out and looking more like a wind maker, light rain and possible valley snow expected for the sierra by thursday of next week into friday. so keeping our fingers crossed for that.
