this is palisades park in daly city.the other side of the fence there is a cliff that is a 200 to 300-foot drop. it's pitch dark but you can see at the ocean and see in that video animal control officers were standing by. officers had their cables laid out and ready to hoist the woman back up. this started around 1:00 this morning when a man and woman were walking their two dogs in this area. all four fell down the cliff. according to firefighters it's about a 200 to 300-foot drop down to the beach and they fell about half of the way down. the man was able to climb back up, walk to a home and call for help. he was injured but we are told he was taken to seaton hospital and he is supposed to recover. the woman however was still stuck about 150 feet down the cliff with her two dogs. rescuers were able to talk to her. shout to her. make contact with her. she told them she couldn't move but at least she was responding. rescuers on foot almost made it to her to rescue her but her two dogs described as being very aggressive. c

let's take a look at the thruway southbound, exit 13 for the palisades, we have an accident. it's taking out one lane of traffic. we're also dealing with a little bit of an issue on this outbound brooklyn bridge. still closed down earlier this morning, an accident involving an overturned vehicle. investigation going on, so until further notice be aware of that, and now we're dealing with a couple of things going on at the lincoln inbound and outbound. around the helix it's jammed. now f you're approached the helix on 495 right by kennedy, disabled vehicle that takes out at least one lane. and then it is absolutely jammed moving into the tunnel because we have a disabled tunnel inside one of the tube toss to go inbound to lincoln. at least a 45 minute delay, and that's at best. the outbound side of the tunnel is closed because of a vehicle fire that's being tended to inside, the outbound tube of the lincoln, stay away from the lincoln tunnel except if you need to leave manhattan. let's talk about the trains, e, f,m and r trains reduced service 6:30-9:30 this morning and 3:30-8

sunny skies, 85 degrees for palisades. same for east bay in san francisco, warm day there, 75 degrees, 86 for north bay. tri-valley not as hot. temperatures there back to 86 degrees after yesterday hitting close to 90. it is all relative. still warm for inland valleys. notice the wind future cast moving through the day. how breezy from south bay. winds up to 15 miles per hour, across the peninsula up to 20. north bay, gusts up to 25 or 35 heading through the day because of a storm system that moved through. it will continue to keep a trough in place. whenever you get winds, look at the direction they're coming from canada and alaska. cold air diving southward. means temperatures are below average for a couple days. high pressure usually starts, but we have an interesting setup. all because we have hurricanes across the pacific so that high pressure is stationary, that trough keeps things in place. we have two hurricanes that could impact hawaii. first one, hurricane ignacio. a powerful one, winds up to 140 miles per hour.
