. >>> topping our news this morning a search for a missing couple from the palm springs area is an investigation into a suspicious death. kraig debro joins us with overnight discoveries. >> reporter: good morning, pam. a couple of questions is it a homicide, suicide? or is it a double homicide. a woman's body was found in hotel room along the 1400 block of lumbar yesterday. billy waterman was reported missiology on monday a vehicle associated with him was found near devil slide. a maid working at a hotel found the body of a woman in her hotel room. san francisco examiners office has not identified the woman. deputies searched the area near devils slide not only the road but the water off of devils slide for about three hours. they called off the search around 9:00 p.m. yesterday. they reopened around 9:30 this morning. we are investigating whether the search resume this morning. we called the coast guard this morning. they say they are not involved in the search however san mateo county sheriffs of office was doing the search yesterday. we will make calls and find that out. reporting live in san
