our michal higdon is live at palmetto health this palmetto health wants to build a specialized playground for kids that will benefit their learning and development during their stay at children's hospital. it would help children -- like eli adams -- who was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of leukemia back in march of 2015. before being diagnosed, eli's mom, robyn, tells me he was an extremely active 10-year-old boy. he loved sports, especially baseball, basketball, and kickball. once he was diagnosed with cancer, he was forced to slow his movement -- but still found ways to play during his stay at the hospital for two and a half months. robyn says having a playground at the hospital would have been amazing -- especially for kids like eli.
