pam, what is this? what does it mean? >> this has been an area under dispute for a while now.yers for republicans in pennsylvania have gone back to the supreme court. what they're asking right now is for the high court to log, segregate and otherwise not take any action for ballots receive after election day. they essential want the supreme court to weigh in and order pennsylvania to not include those late-arriving ballots, include today, to be counted toward the vote totals. what they're doing is citing the secretary of state's guidance as the lone of why this order needs to happen. they point out initially the secretary of state in pennsylvania released guidance saying that they lace arriving ballots in pennsylvania that were sent by election day but arrived after, they would be segregated. she updated that guidance, that it would not go to the vote totals. what we're seeing, my understanding, is it does not include the late arriving ballots. in places like pip, they separate them, and put them in shall -- shrink wrap them. >> so let me, pam, saying a sense of where we are.
