i'm pam moore. and i'm ken wayne, although crews continue making some headway battling the caldor fire. >> they've not been able to stop its forward progress yet. and because of that, the 10's of thousands of people under evacuation order still are not allowed back home. so here is a look at the latest numbers for that fire that has burned 207,000 acres. the flames are 23% contained tonight. 780 buildings have been destroyed and we have also learned that cal fire is down a strike team because of a covid outbreak, although the fire's containment is growing. albeit slowly. the burn area is also growing grant lodes joins us now live from the newsroom with a look at the fire zone and what's happening there. grant well, can crews did make some progress and the weather did. >> play a helping hand in that. but you have about 200,000 acres last night at this time that had burned tonight 208,000 acres. so, you know, considering what had been happening at some points with this fire crews are considering this
