let's go back to pam and andre on the desk.er an officer shot and killed a suspected carjacker. police say it about 3 20 yesterday afternoon, they were alerted by community safety cameras card car believed to be involved that that was and entered the city on mowry avenue. the car was spotted at the chase suite hotel on cedar avenue as officers tried to arrest the two carjacking suspect. one suspect was shot by several officers and died at the scene. not all shooters had been interviewed at this time, but it's our understanding that there are officers involved from both newark and breeding. the second suspect was taken to hospital and later released. they are now in police custody. police say a weapon was recovered at the scene. no officers or bystanders were hurt. contra costa county district attorney's office has now released its official report on the text messages sent between members of the anti attack police department now the redacted report details racist, homophobic and sexist text messages involving 14 members of the c

pam. good morning to you.in north beach, right at the corner of columbus and broadway. here we now know up to five people were shot, leaving one person dead. we'll show you some video of the scene from late last night. we've blurred some graphic parts of the video. police say they also recovered a gun at the scene found on the ground outside of nearby liquor store officers say all of this happening around 11 o'clock last night. we spoke to a man who says he heard it all happened upstairs from his hotel room. i was just in my room and heard about few gunshots looked out the window. there was a guy being dragged in the street car can't drive off. police say they're not sure about the conditions of the four people recovering from the shooting. we're still waiting to learn any information about the suspect. the department's investigations deputy chief put out a tweet calling for anyone with information or video of this area from late last night. be sure to give police a call. we're live this morning in san francis
