(ken) and i'm ken wayne. what was a missing person's case is now a homicide investigation.(pam) kron-4's charles clifford joins us live from san leandro tonight... charles how did police find the suspect? according to east bay regional parks, early monday morning family of 19-year-old anthony pimentel told san leandro police that there was a human body near the chabot dam. upon further investigation, police did find the remains of an african-american female near the dam. while the coroners office has not yet identified the body, alfreda davis, the mother of 18-year-old mariah davis, says she was told by police that the victim was her daughter and that 19-year-old pimentel had confessed to killing her.according to alfreda, mariah davis and anthony pimentel had dated for two years but were no longer together. even so, mariah and anthony apparently did have lunch at a restaurant in san leandro last wednesday but mariah has not been seen since. her family has spent the past few days frantically searching for her.

(natasha) (natasha) (catherine) we want to continue our team coverage this evening on now tropical storm michael.(ken) we are joined by chief meterologist lawrence karnow now. the storm has been down graded where is it headed now. lawrence karnow: michael is now a tropical storm but continues to bring gusty winds and later tonight. we started with a few clouds but then cleared all the way to the coast.highs today were in the 60s and 70s. much warmer weather is on the way. on the satellite you can see highs pressure to the north and low pressure just off the coast. this will allow for offshore winds and much warmer weather. highs tomorrow will be in the mid 80s inland with 60s and 70s at the coast. it will be warm and breezy all the way to the coast this weekend. it will stay mostly sunny and nice through the m
