you know, anderson, a lot of these correspondence with the committee happens privately. these are a written q&a that we obtained with my colleague pamela brown, and i obtained from our sources. and they don't release these this information publicly. we did in the aftermath of this vote today. now, one of the things that democrats have been saying is that republicans are rushing. they believe this nomination to go forward because they're concerned that more allegations like this could come ahead. one thing that democrats point to was the decision by the chairman of the senate armed services committee earlier this week to have a vote in the committee to advance this nomination without following the committee rules, to provide one week's notice before that vote. the committee, the republicans, waived those rules, put the nomination before their committee, advance it to the floor, and they want to get this done asap. and democrats believe it's because they want to do this before any opposition arises. any new allegations emerge. i asked that to the chairman of the armed services committee, roger wicker. i said, why are you pushing this for
