. >> meteorologist pamela gardner from our boston station wbz has more on the extreme heat. >> record heat will continue for monday and tuesday. notice how the jet stream is all the way up into canada where they are dealing with severe weather and also for the northern plain states. while in the desert southwest, unfortunately, the heat dome will continue to bring triple digit temperatures as well as wildfire threats. red flag warnings are out around los angeles until tuesday due to the gusty winds, the low relative humidity levels and those triple digit temperatures. so the scorching southwest, here we go. heat advisories are out, excessive heat warnings out from las vegas, to l.a., phoenix andiuma where we expect temperatures to be in the triple digits. forecast highs monday, las vegas 109, tuesday, 108, 122 for palm springs. 124 degrees expected for death valley, kal cam on monday with 123 degrees expected on tuesday. one record that will actually still stand though is going to be the all time death valley record of 134 degrees. that was set back in july of 1913. >> pamela gardner,
