pamela kimball has lived off and on in the richmond district since 1980.he's well aware of outside lands, but not the newest event taking place on saturday. >> it is a surprise. i thought this was over. >> reporter: kimball says these events take away parts of the park that she enjoys along with causing the common problems associated with large crowds. >> just our neighborhood, we're paying a price, the parking, the traffic, the road closures. i don't want to be too much of a complainer about it, but it does impact my life and especially the richmond side. they walk all over us in the richmond. >> reporter: commissioner cat anderson with san francisco recreation and park says outside lands has generated roughly $1 billion in economic activity since 2008 and the inaugural golden gate park concerts alone will add an estimated $1.4 million. anderson insists their partners with another planet entertainment have taken extensive measures to alleviate the impact on neighbors. >> we do everything we can sort of not having the concert, which i think would be a mist
