again, about 50 miles to the south of panama city, florida. its track will take it early in the evening into the land areas of the panhandle with winds of 45 miles per hour at that point. it will still have tropical storm strength at its center, but the bigger threat here is going to be that widespread rainfall. wednesday and thursday, it's all the way up near canada at that point. the wind is no longer an issue, but we are have widespread rain threat. what we're looking at over the next few days. today we have the rain and the wind near the gulf coast, plus that threat for storm surge as you just heard, two to four feet in some locations. and then tuesday, tomorrow, the remnants move in to the southeast. we'll see scattered rain and a threat for thunderstorms and of course any thunderstorms that develop could produce heavy downpours and you could get inundation from that. by wednesday, the remnants reached all the way into the midwest with showers and some heavy rain but also notice how much hoar widespread the rain threat will become at that
