we go back to this issue of the fact that the secretary panetta before he left and the joint chiefs all unanimously get together and said women should have a chance to be in combat roles we have been working on this for last few years trying to figure out how we measure what is needed in combat roles. and then we have had women volunteer infantry training training sessions to take a look and see how they would fare. we are going through the process looking at the gender-neutral standard to try to figure out which ones work and are working toward this january 2016 timeframe where i would hope maybe it won't happen, but i would hope all units would be open to women. that will be determined through the standards and the tests that we are putting some of these women through. so what happened a few years ago was a knew section was put in basically saying that if any would be opened or closed to women there needed to be a notification to congress 30 consecutive days to strike the 30 day required now in law. why do that? we are going through this system through the gender-neutral standards goi
