and panetta says he will work to get cities more money to fight gun deaths. now in the east bay, a driver killed a pedestrian in oakland this morning. police say the collision happened around 1030 this morning on international boulevard near 92nd avenue. it's not clear if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or if alcohol or drugs were involved. the driver remained at the scene. a fremont elementary school was locked down this afternoon because of a police search. mattos elementary students had to stay inside while police searched near maori and farewell or farwell avenues. fremont police have not given us details. all they have said is that they took two suspects into custody. it's not clear what those suspects are accused of doing right now. police say the situation is resolved and a woman accused of illegally smuggling tropical fruit into santa clara is being barred from selling any kind of fruit at this point. >> that was one of the conditions that the judge set forth and haven she and her other women that are involved in this were accused of importing from
