this is in part due to the system that's now just north of the florida panhandle there. ton of moisture on the other side of this warm front here. luckily for snow haters this thing is moving off into the ocean. what we're noticing, there was a dry slot that formed here that is slowly closing up now. some of this moisture associated with this low and this warm front is mixing in with this upper level trough here which could bring up a little more moisture, a little more snow, little more rain, ice, heading into the next several hours here. then on the back end of the other smaller upper level low here that will move through. good news, it's a very fast moving storm. so not too much to worry about as far as major accumulations in the area. we should see some snow. temperatures 33 to 38 degrees. we saw some areas were even warmer in the low 40s. snow is the story. more to the north and west, less to the south and east. it will be pretty much a rain event for the entire eastern shore. as far as accumulation dusting to around 2 inches in the baltimore area. more to the north
