he's paragliding on his first mountain flight in santa barbara, california th. this is from december 2013. flying to parma park. you hear the beeping from his altimeter, telling how high up he is. at one point he says -- >> this is outrageous. >> this is outrageous. but he goes from saying things like this is outrageous to saying things far different. you're about to see why. he's on his radio with somebody, who is instructing him and a bunch of other paragliders to go in for a landing. i know the altimeter beeping is for a reason. it adds to the stress of the situation like this. because watch when he goes in for his landing. it is not much of a landing at all. >> oh! >> yeah. goes flying right down, hits hard into that tree. >> doing good too. all of a sudden -- you remember that demeanor. he still has it. >> i just sank down in the tree. >> i think he's chuckling because he's, like, i'm alive. like, i landed in the tree and it didn't puncture me. >> i love this guy. >> that was [ bleep ] awesome. >> he has other people helping him out and he gets down safely.
