foundation unveiled a new, inclusive playground in mountain view. today, it is the sixth one the group has built in the bay area. this one is located in rengstorff parkmmunity center. the playground is designed to be accessible for everybody. it features a two story playhouse with community stage for performances, and also has a corner that showcases art made by disabled artists from san francisco, along with an accessible carousel, sensory slide and a picnic area. opening an all abilities, all ages inclusive playground really is in the spirit of our community that we're welcoming for everyone. there's a pla for you, and we can't wait to bring a little magic to people's lives. construction made possible by grants and donations from the county of santa clara and the california state parks. i've been to a number of magical bridge playgrounds. they are fantastic. and what is one of the things that's so great about them is obviously they're built with kids with disabilities in mind, but everybody loves them. i know the one they have in palo alto. there's a traditional playground right next door. nobody goes to that. everybody goes to the magical bridge p

accelerator fund mhc cd applied for the partnership for bay park for the bay's policy fund grant and this grant program is funded by the san francisco foundationnd delivered by coronado in california. this program will fund a two year fellow to work on housing policy and we are requesting board support to accept and expend the grant. >> our fellow will be analyzing the city's single room occupancy or sro portfolio and policies. san francisco has more than 500 sro buildings which are owned by private and nonprofit entities. sro is how some of our city's most vulnerable populations yet are located in some of the oldest buildings and many are quickly deteriorating. this fellow will help us identify solutions to issues around data collection rehabilitation for long term sustainability, how to best serve the housing needs of sro residents and how to enact legislation to amend current regulations to meet new policy goals. the sro ecosystem has changed dramatically in the past decade. the buildings are aging and need significant capital investment. high need populations have been have increasing acuity and covid shocks to the housing markets, decreas
