jason has more with parker smith. reporter: the cardinals have one of the top buy receivers in the state, it's senior parker smith, at six three 190 pounds he's a big target with the athleticism to make big plays. >> i like playing like a friday night football game and the intensity you get within the game. reporter: his athleticism comes from being a athlete, he plays basketball in the winter and runs track in the spring. he decided to focus on improving to play at the college level. >> coach josh put it in my head like you're pretty good at football, so i just learned the game, made football my life. reporter: his dedication earned him a position as captain, a responsibility he doesn't take trying to get them hyped up. i try to lead by example, i yell a lot, try to get everyone hyped up and i just go as hard as i can and set a good example. reporter: he's a good student in general, carries a 3.7g.p.a. and says she's looking at several division two and three colleges to continue his football career. his first choice
