i want to thank everyone from the community, from the yacht harbor, as well as the rec and park department. >> thank you, supervisor. good afternoon. i just wanted to add a couple of things to what the supervisor said and thank him for his leadership on both helping us identify the funds for the 36 additional slips and working closely with the voters. -- boaters. the harbor is currently undergoing a renovation funded by a loan from the department of boating and waterways. this 36 additional slips, which is an alternative and was voted by the voters as their most important alternative to find, would generate about $157,000 a year in additional revenue. as far as the other fees, those were born out of changes to the rules and regulations that govern the marina, which were last updated in 1991. our goal was to bring those rules and regulations of to modern standards to reflect the modern marine debris will soon have at the end of this year. we are available for any questions. supervisor farrell: we also have the cfo of rec and park. any questions? >> good afternoon. the fees in the legislatio

i just want to thank the rec and park department. i think it has been significant, it has not been an easy road. people in san francisco are very passionate about our parks. to find agreement on how we will spend $185 million is a very difficult thing to do. i just want to give them credit for their outreach and their work. and a willingness to hear from residents all across san francisco. i am also very excited that we have been able to increase the size of the bonds, especially because that movement has created greater opportunity for parks said mclaren park, as well as district 11. i know there was a large effort from the comptroller's office -- controller's office. i expect that i will be in full support. i will be in full support. i will be a co-sponsor. some things i am concerned about when it comes to mclaren park, we will have $10 million in funding, i would like to see the funding go towards real recreation and capital improvements within the boundaries of our green areas. we have a road that goes right through the middle of

the recreation and park department brought up this project in april of 2012. the three lowest bidders were considered to after the discount provided below. the package consisted of the basic bid and two alternates to supplement the playground. four of the alternates were implemented to substitute the club house design. the chart below, you can see the three lowest bidders. and the prices that they had for the bass bid. and each of the alternates. the construction project was two $0.8 million, and the engineers bass bid was $2,798 ,600. the bass bid for the alternates was almost 100% of the engineers estimates. three bids received, one from the second lowest bidder, and two from the third lowest bidder. the responses were due on the 10th and then for subsequent review by the city. the three lowest bidders were reviewed for contractors qualifications. the resolution that they be brought in was completed. and it was determined that the first-lowest bidder wasn't non responsive. and the second lowest bidder -- was not responsive. and the second lowest bidder was t
