thousands of people are lining up in around pasadena to guarantee a good view of rose parade tomorrowr on seventh avenue basically covering a good portion of the city but mainly light rain. up in the north bay, we have a wider area of rain and more patches of heavier rainfall through parts of sonoma county down to marin county. temperature readings mainly in the 40s but up to 50 degrees in san jose. some of the temperature readings have come up in the last hour or so. so we can expect showers on saturday and areas of snow in the lake county and more rain on sunday. in fact it is snowing in parts of lake county. we have winter advisory in effect until noon, one to two inches near clearlake. there could be snow or ice on the roads on highway 29 going north of calistoga. and a winter weather advisory in tahoe for three to five inches of snow at lake level. four on eight inches of snow above 7,000 feet. back to the atmosphere looking at the cold front bringing the rainfall pushing into a cold air mass which is one reason we're seeing snow mixed in with rainfall. time line looks like this,
