live downtown, i'm pat collins. news 4. >> when it rains, it pours in this city, pat. >> all right. >> we're going to be welcoming rg-iii a little bit later. pat, we'll see you at 5:00. >>> wild weather over the weekend. people in the area are still cleaning up after those violent storms. news 4 has more on the extensive damage in fairfax county. >> reporter: we're here on south shore road in reston. this is a neighborhood with a lot of tall, very mature trees. in saturday's storm they came tumbling down on tops of cars. you can see the damage done here. you can see a huge stack of broken limbs here. we also across the street have a truck that was crushed by a falling tree. and you can also see the damage done to this house here. the carport collapsed on top of the car here. just a very scary situation for folks who live here in this neighborhood. fortunately, though, no injuries, no serious injuries in this storm. so despite all of the damage, people who live here say that they consider themselves to be quite lucky.
