meanwhile, ted budd pulling off a wide victory in north carolina against pat mccrory. at the health of the consumer this morning with more major retail earnings, and target missed the mark bigtime, and the stock is plunging. lowe's reported earnings in the last are hour, both lowe's and target's stocks are down as you can see. as we aching a look at their quarterly reports where expenses cut into profits, sending the numbers below expectations. target's stock right to now down 21%. big move down on target shares right now. a look at all of this as we watch the broader markets also decline. take a look at the dow industrials, right near the lows of the morning, down 97 points. the s&p 500 lower by 17.25 the, nasdaq down 78 points. all the major indices are down in the double digits year to date. stocks did finish up yesterday, we saw money moving to the dow the and the nasdaq in a big way, the dow can finishing up 431 points, the nasdaq was up 322. s&p 500 higher by 80 points, that was 2% higher yesterday for the s&p. oil prices this morning are also remaining elevated.
